History of an all-round shortsea terminal and inland terminal
Launched on the 1st of May 2004, stevedoring company CCT has fully recognised the potential of the strategic location of the port of Moerdijk halfway between the main ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp. At the crossroads of waterways, roads and railways, Moerdijk is optimally accessible for customers on both the landside and the sea side. CCT is a combined shortsea terminal and inland terminal, a full-service seaport and a trimodal hub.
Multifaceted complex of 38 hectares
CCT started out on a ten-hectare terminal site and has now grown into a multifaceted complex for cargo handling and storage which spans 38 hectares. The pictures illustrate the development of Moerdijk and CCT over the years.
