Hub of shortsea services
The 900-metre long quay of the cargo handling terminal offers ample room for efficiently handling multiple shortsea ships side by side. Eight different cargo handling cranes allow for the fast and efficient unloading and loading of containers, breakbulk and general cargo.
CCT constitutes a strategic port of call in North-west Europe for numerous leading shortsea shipping lines. From here, these shipping lines maintain regular scheduled services to various destinations in Northern Europe, Southern Europe and the UK . Tramp shipping can count on CCT for an optimal handling as well.
Optimum access for shortsea vessels
Without being hindered by locks or tidal movements, shortsea ships with draughts of up to 9 metres can always call at CCT. From the North Sea, any shortsea ship can be safely moored alongside the quay at CCT in about 3.5 hours.
