CCT has its own rail terminal with three 750-metre tracks and one 900-metre track which extends all the way to the quayside. This also allows for direct transhipment between train and inland barge and between train and shortsea vessel. At the rail terminal, a 45-tonne gantry crane combined with reach stackers, ensures efficient handling of containers, breakbulk and general cargo.
From CCT’s rail terminal, trains have direct access to the national and European railway network. For instance, Moerdijk is directly connected to the Betuwe Route, the dedicated freight railway line which runs straight through the Netherlands to Germany. But also to the south and north, rail freight transport from Moerdijk offers multiple options.

Various container shuttles arrive weekly at CCT Moerdijk. They connect Moerdijk directly with Segrate (Milan), Duisburg, Ludwigshafen and Wroclaw. We guarantee a rapid turnaround time at our terminal.

More than containers
CCT Moerdijk handles conventional cargo arriving by rail on a weekly basis; from paper to cat litter, for example. In addition, there are various possibilities for handling breakbulk cargo by rail. Furthermore, we can temporarily store goods in our covered warehouse.
