Renovation of terminal and level crossing security

The European Commission is subsidising 3.7 million euros for the renovation of the terminal at Moerdijk.

The renovation is part of an overall project to improve the international rail transport connections between the Port of Moerdijk and major transport corridors. The Port of Moerdijk is situated on the three TEN-T corridors: The North Sea-Mediterranean corridor, North Sea-Baltic Sea corridor and the Rhine-Alpine corridor.

The work has already begun and completion is scheduled for 2021. The project is a collaboration with the Moerdijk Port Authority.
